Maliau Basin is a virtually untouched 588 km² conservation area in Sabah’s rainforest, revealed as a hidden circular “Lost World.” Managed for protection, research, and sustainable tourism, it supports rich biodiversity, dramatic geology, and iconic species, while fostering conservation, education, and community partnerships for future stewardship.
