When his wife and children die in a car accident, he uses experimental cloning and mind-uploading technology to bring them back to life. However, his actions have unforeseen consequences, attracting the attention of powerful forces that want to control his research. The movie explores themes of morality, identity, and the consequences of playing god with science. Is cloning possible? Is it possible to tranfer human consiousness to machines or to a cloned human?
